Former playmate Anna Nicole Smith unexpectedly died at a South Florida hospital yesterday. Before, the model was found unconscious in her room in Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood. While her partner Howard K. Stern was not there when this happened, her nurse and her bodyguard were with her when rescue workers arrived. An autopsy is scheduled for Friday. It’s a tragic happening, and her death came completely unexpected. Anna Nicole’s son died unexpectedly just last year. Smith is leaving behind a 4-month-old daughter. What a sad story!

Former Playboy playmate Anna Nicole Smith joins Britney Spears in the ranks of supposedly pregnant celebrities this week, as several sources report she is expecting a second child. Smith’s lawyer and spokesman, Howard K. Stern, adds more confusion to the rumour by giving blurry statements regarding her pregnancy:

“If Anna Nicole is pregnant, she obviously doesn’t want anybody to know yet,” Stern wrote in an e-mail to The Associated Press. “If she’s not pregnant, she’s not denying the rumor because she thinks it’s funny how much of a stir it’s causing. She’ll leave it up to you to guess which one it is.” [via Yahoo News]

My personal guess is these are just rumours to give Anna Nicole a little fresh breeze of exposure, but we will soon read more about this issue. So far, there is still no word on who the father of her second child may be.
